New York - Funeral services for actor James Gandolfini will be on Thursday at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York City.
An HBO spokesperson speaking on behalf of the family says the funeral is scheduled for 10:00.
The 51-year-old star of The Sopranos died on Wednesday in Rome. Family spokesperson Michael Kobold says Gandolfini died of a heart attack.
The Italian news agency ANSA reports Gandolfini's body departed Rome for the United States on Sunday. Kobold earlier told reporters the "provisional plan" was to repatriate Gandolfini's body on Monday.
The actor had been headed to Sicily to appear at the Taormina Film Festival, which paid tribute to him on Saturday.
