Grandma wows at X Factor premiere

Los Angeles - This grandmother knows how to work it.

Lille McCloud, a 54-year-old woman with three children and seven grandchildren, impressed the judges with her Whitney Houston-type voice at Wednesday's premiere of Simon Cowel's X Factor.

The judges and audience gave Lille a standing ovation after her rendition of Alabaster Box by gospel artist CeCe Winans. Not only did she impress with her voice, the judges could not believe her age as she rocked a tight leather catsuit on stage.

Reactions from the judges

Kelly Rowland, one of the new judges, said, "“Where you been? Where you been hiding? The fact that you sang to people a song they didn’t know and you could feel it… You blessed us."

Creator of the reality show Simon Cowell was also dumbfounded. “I think you have, honestly, an incredible voice. You absolutely nailed it. It really was that good."

Ex-Disney star Demi Lovato could not keep back the tears. "Oh my god. Ripped my heart out of my chest. I feel like I’m listening to Whitney and maybe your time wasn’t supposed to happen until now."
