Johannesburg - The Idols contestants are taking on big songs in the upcoming R&B-themed spectacular.
Freddie Van'Dango has chosen to sing Rehab by the late Amy Winehouse in a bid to secure entry to the Top 7 round.
Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment on July 23.
The Top 8 finalists will be mentored by Loyiso Bala, who will also perform with them on stage at Friday's spectacular which takes place at the Mosaïek Teatro in Fairlands, Johannesburg.

Dave van Vuuren: Marvin Gaye's Sexual Healing
Dené Vorster: Voice Within from Christina Aguilera
Erin Fourie: Beyoncé's Halo
