Cape Town – Monde Msutwana from Witbank has been voted off Idols SA season 8, leaving Khaya Mthethwa and Melissa Allison to compete for the ultimate title in the Idols finale.

Port Elizabeth's Melissa, 23, was the first contestant to be sent to the safe zone on Tuesday night leaving Khaya and Monde wondering which of them will be joining Melissa in the finale.

30-year-old Monde received the least amount of votes and performed his new single on stage.

Melissa and Durban's Khaya also recorded their very own singles this past week and the music videos for the singles will be revealed soon.

Voting for the finale is open and will close on Monday, 1 October, at 22:00.
