Cape Town - New Idols judge Unathi Msengana has given birth, but the new addition to the judges' table of the M-Net reality show won't be missing any episodes.
An insider confirmed that Unathi Msengana gave birth to a baby girl last week. It is her second child with husband Thomas Msengana, formerly known as Bad Boy T.
Unathi Msengana will not however be absent from the show due to the new baby. During the first episode of the 7th season of Idols on June 5 Msengana was six months pregnant, but the first episode was actually filmed four months ago in Cape Town.
Two months' worth of Idols episodes have already been recorded, which means Msengana will seamlessly return in August when the Sunday spectaculars and live eviction episodes of Idols start.
Over the next few months viewers will see Msengana at the rest of the nationwide auditions in Polokwane, Durban and Johannesburg, followed by three episodes covering the theatre round at Sun City.
