Jane Lynch to sing at Emmy Awards

Los Angeles - Jane Lynch will sing at the forthcoming Emmy Awards.

The Glee actress - who has recorded versions of Madonna's Vogue and Olivia Newton John's Let's Get Physical on the musical TV show - has confirmed she will be performing a piece at the awards she is hosting on Sunday, which will include the co-stars of her famed series.

She said: "I think I am going to be singing. I spent the whole day singing. That's a little secret for you/ There will be a little bit of Glee there too.

"I think they will be there, yeah. It's so funny, because I know we're only a week out but we're still not confirmed on what's going on."

Making a splash

Despite not being sure of the running order of the ceremony, Jane - who is often known for wearing tracksuits as part of her role as Coach Sylvester in Glee - has joked she does know exactly what clothes she will don on the night.

She told E! Online: "How much skin will I show? My shoulders! But I am going to have some deep V's. Some plunging necklines. There might be some cleavage."

Jane has previously revealed she is keen to make the best show ever and is "humbled" at being offered the role of presenter, just one year after winning Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the ceremony.

She said: "I think you want to make a splash. I'd be lying if I said if I didn't say we wanted to make the best awards show ever. We want it to be special. It's such a coveted spot, it's the biggest night in television, as they call it.

"You want to do it justice, or at least I do. I'm humbled by it."
