Jersey Shore finale gets SA premiere

Cape Town - The final season of Jersey Shore will be premiering on South African screens in December.

MTV has announced that the sixth season of Jersey Shore will be premiering in December on MTV (DStv Channel 130) and will also bid farewell to the global pop culture phenomenon. MTV did not supply any information as to when or at what time the show will be premiering.

The final season premieres on MTV in the US on 4 October.
 
Jersey Shore has been one of MTV's top performing series of all time, striking a chord with young viewers around the world. 

Snooki struggles to adapt in house

Jersey Shore follows the wild lives of eight housemates spending their summers mainly in Jersey Shore, New Jersey, but the cast have also spent time in Miami Beach and Italy in the second and fourth seasons respectively.

Snooki, Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Deena Cortese and the other castmates will all return for the final season.

The season will start off with Snooki being eight months pregnant and struggling to adapt to her former party life. The Situation also opens up to his fellow housemates about his stint in rehab, while Deena has a run-in with the law.
