Los Angeles - After months of speculation, the producers of X Factor USA have confirmed that Khloe Kardashian Odom has signed on as host for the hit reality show, reports E! News.
It has been a rumour for quite some time now that Khloe has been pegged as a front-runner for the male-female hosting team for season 2.
E! News has confirmed that Khloé will pick up her hosting duties in November with a male host that is yet to be named.
Mario Lopez rumored to be male host
Even though the show premiered on 12 September, the episodes that have been aired to date are pre-taped auditions. This has been giving the producers of the show time to find new hosts after Steve Jones left the show after his first and only season, due to contract disputes.
Mario Lopez has been strongly linked to the male host gig, but there has been no official word yet.
The X Factor US airs on M-Net on Saturdays at 18:00 and Sunday's at 17:30.
South African viewers will be able to see Khloe's X Factor debut from mid-November.
