Cape Town - The Idols finalists have recorded their debut singles ahead of the Idols finale on Tuesday.

The songs were introduced to audiences on the final Idols spectacular broadcast on Sunday.

The winner of Idols season 7 will be announced on Tuesday during a 90-minute broadcast airing on M-Net (DStv 101) as well as Mzansi Magic (DStv 107).

The finale will feature performances and appearances from the likes of Kurt Darren, Lira, Liquideep, The Parlotones, Elvis Blue and L'loyd Cele as well as the rest of the Idols 7 Top Ten.

Voting lines remain open until 22:00 on Monday. To vote for Mark Haze SMS 08 to 37400. To vote for Dave van Vuuren SMS 11 to 37400. SMSes cost R1.50 each.

Fans can also vote on MXit.

21-year-old Van Vuuren's single is titled Hall of Mirrors, written by Watershed's Craig Hinds.
