Local comedian David Kibuuka to join Trevor Noah as staff writer on The Daily Show

Cape Town – Ugandan-born South African comedian David Kibuuka will be joining Trevor Noah as a staff writer on The Daily Show.

Comedy Central announced the news on their website and congratulated 34-year-old David, who is best known for being a field correspondent on the satirical news show, Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola.

David is set to join Trevor on 28 September as he takes over hosting duties on The Daily Show.
