Johannesburg -  MTV (DStv Channel 130) is set to transform Friday night with a wicked twist in traditional cooking series.

MTV brings you #foodforthemunchies, a jam packed food trio of cooking shows with a piquant pinch of added millennial infused spice.

The entertainment crammed trilogy comprises of: MTV Baked: SA Celeb Cook Off, Brothers Green: EATS! And Snack Off: Totally Baked.

MTV Baked: SA Celeb Cook Off features a host of Mzansi’s prominent influencers going head to head in the ultimate gastronomic race. The challenge: to recreate the Brothers Green: EATS! unique dishes to win the MTV Baked spatula and culinary street cred.

Brothers Green: EATS!, a new half-hour series features Brooklyn-based brothers Mike and Josh Greenfield as they dish up "food for the people, by the people", drawing inspiration from across New York City and around the world, and featuring cameo appearances from surprise guests and A-list musicians.

Brothers Green: EATS! will premiere exclusively on MTV in sub-Saharan Africa weekly from Friday 17 April at 21:15 (repeats Saturdays at 19:00 CAT from Saturday 18 April).

While the Brothers Green, comprising real-life siblings Mike and Josh Green, were building up a cult following on their YouTube channel with their unique, irreverent "dorm room-style" cooking tips, MTV was searching for the perfect blend of cooking, comedy and fun for its youth audience - and hey presto: the dream recipe was born.
