    Seriously, READ meat.

Why oh why do the pathetic judges have to resort to and copy the outdated practice of creating a negative impression when announcing whether someone is through or not. It is so irritating and so yesterday. It could be a good programme, were it not for the irritating judges.

If you insist on wearing a suit to a braai, you should at least wear one that fits ! Looked like a clown suit.

  • Olive - 2012-04-04 07:58

Tried again to watch but won't try again - the judges talk with their mouths full-disgusting,the show is pathetic. @Ron agree he did look like a clown LOL

Excited to watch this show! The judges might be irritating, but they know what they're doing. :D

      Graham - 2012-04-04 12:49

pathetic, what are they paying you

  • Ricus - 2012-04-04 08:22

Channel24 I definately dislike Ilse Fourie having been highlighted, it is just unfair practice, seeing that she is a Model and has had her fame and married to Johan Fourie, whom has ownership of his belated father's transport business, they obviously have enough money. Rather promote all of the contestants if you want to follow through with links!

      Isabel - 2012-04-05 10:18

Ai Ricus, do you actually KNOW Ilse Fourie personally? Have you tasted her cooking???? Well if not, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and stop being so envious!.........if you have tasted her cooking you might realize that she is a serious contestant to be dealt with and being a former model just adds to her charm. As for her husband comment.....what on EARTH has that to do with masterchef?? Get a life Ricus!

      Janine - 2012-04-05 10:53

Ricus, if Ilse win's I hope she shuffs a spatula up where the sun is not shining! You obviously selling tyres out of your garage and have nothing better to do than being jealous of other people. Stop making assumptions! Some people have passion for what they do!

      Isabel - 2012-04-05 12:26

Jealousy makes one very nasty Janine, we can only feel sorry for this poor guy!

I caught about 20 minutes of this episode and compared to the first which was absolutely unwatchable trash this one was almost tolerable. There has been a bit of an improvement although I don't think I could make it through a whole episode. I still think that the judges chosen for this were wrong and they are still trying too hard and lacking in natural charisma.

  • emgee.taute - 2012-04-04 08:35

I would have loved to see Nataniel as a judge....

      Eva - 2012-04-04 08:39

      YES!

      Rick - 2012-04-04 08:57

I think Reuben Rifel would have made a decent judge. A respected household name and as we've seen with his Robertson Spices adverts not above whoring himself out for easy money.

      Tammy - 2012-04-05 07:23

Brilliant idea!!!!Mnet picked the worst judges i watch it for 5mins they irritate me and i change the channel. So sad

      Livvi - 2012-04-06 08:22

Most definitely!! He would have been excellent. These judges are pathetic. One was quoted as saying 'they had to jump through hoops to be chosen for the position' well maybe they should jump through hoops in the circus where they belong!

Ai jaai jaai what a dissapointment last nights show was, for starters who dressed Andrew Atkinson, his suit was three sizes too big, note to wardrobe: he won't grow into it! Pete Goffe-Wood you have appalling manners, one does not wave one's cutlery around, no matter how animated you're being. Talking with your mouths full is revolting. We probably didn't see all the dishes made unfortunately, and the ones we did see looked terrible. Will it be possible to save this show?

  • Jason - 2012-04-04 09:54

This has to be one of the worst tv shows i have ever seen. The judges are absolutely ridiculous! They should all go to finishing school to fine tune their eating manners as well as their dress sense! As for the contestants......do you really think pap and meat, huge stuffed peppers are going to win masterchef. My advice, send everyone home before they really make idiots out of themselves!

  • Irene - 2012-04-04 10:56

This show doesn't have a chance because of the pathetic judges.

  • Graham - 2012-04-04 12:47

Really disappointed at this production. If these contestants are our best in the country, We have a problem. Judging is pathetic, contestants are pathetic. This is embarrassing to us South Africans. Where are we going.

  • HR - 2012-04-04 13:53
