MasterChef winner coming to SA

Johannesburg - Adam Liaw will be in South Africa in September.

South African audiences saw Liaw crowned the winner of MasterChef Australia on M-Net on Thursday, and fans will now have the opportunity to see him in action at the Good Food and Wine Show in Johannesburg from 22 - 25 September.

Liaw will also participate in the BBC Lifestyle Theatre where ticketholders can cook along with him.

On winning the title, Liaw said: "It was extraordinary. I don't think I've ever been as happy! To all the viewers, the biggest thank you in the world. It's a great feeling to know that there have been literally millions of people cheering me on."

More MasterChef

Liaw isn't the only MasterChef contestant who will be making an appearance at the Good Food and Wine Show. Alvin Quah will also be performing at the event along with Gordon Ramsay.

Meanwhile, M-Net is reportedly planning to produce a South African version of MasterChef.
