Monaco royal wedding running order

Cape Town - The royal wedding between South African swimmer Charlene Wittstock and Monaco's Prince Albert II has been planned to the tee.

The auspicious occassion will be aired live on SABC3 on Saturday July 2 from 14:30. Top Billing's Jo-Ann Strauss will be presenting the event which will include discussion and commentary throughout the broadcast.

Guest commentators include 702 Radio host Jenny Crwys-Williams, fashion designers Abigail Betz and Vesselina Pentcheva (who designed Lady Rugga winner Elma Smit's wedding dress) and fashion stylist Sheldon Kopman.

SABC3's broadcast will run as follows:

14:30:   Documentary – The Grimaldi Family Dynasty
15:30:   SABC3 start of live broadcast
16:55:   HSH Prince Albert II arrives at the Palace Place, walks along the red carpet towards the Altar
16:57:   Miss Wittstock arrives at the Palace Place, walks along the red carpet towards the Altar
17:00:   Religious wedding service starts
17:30:   Exchange of the rings
18:19:   Signature of the registries by the newlyweds and their witnesses
18:30:   The newlyweds leave the Palace, along the red carpet, followed by the Bridesmaids
18:40:   Departure for Sainte Dévote’s Chapel
18:45:   Arrival at Sainte Dévote.
18:50:   The Princess lays down her bridal bouquet. The Prince and the Princess leave the chapel
18:55:   Departure for the Palace
19:00:   Arrival at the Palace New Wing
