Cape Town – Idols 2010 winner Elvis Blue says he has no idea who will walk away with the seventh Idols crown on Tuesday.

"I really have no idea, it's so close," said Elvis.

Dave Van Vuuren from Krugersdorp and Mark Haze from Cape Town are the last two remaining contestants for Idols season 7. The public had a chance to vote for their favourite contestant until 22:00 on Monday.

According to Elvis, his favourite contestants during the competition were Lefa Pike, Kelly Fortuin, Crushanda Frobes, Mark Haze and Dave van Vuuren.

"It doesn't matter who will win tonight and walk away with the prizes, the top ten all had the same platform which gave them the chance to perform in front of a large audience. There are great opportunities for all of them and they should just build on that."

X-factor

Elvis says he is already busy writing his next album and many shows are keeping him busy.

Idols 2005 winner Karin Kortjé speculates that Van Vuuren will be announced as the winner.

According to Kortjé she has a "spiritual connection" with Van Vuuren, although he "does not have the best voice".

"When one looks at his aura and presence on stage, he has so much emotion he puts into his songs. He certainly has the X-factor which makes him unique."

The Idols Finale will be broadcast at 19:30 on M-Net and Mzansi Magic on Tuesday night.
