Cape Town – Fast food chain Nando's launched a new controversial festive campaign titled The Last Dictator on Thursday.

Nando's, a company known for finding a unique perspective on current affairs and contemporary issues, decided to focus on the downfall of dictators in 2011 for their latest campaign.

The central idea of the Nando's festive season campaign revolves around an African dictator, a dinner party he throws for some like-minded friends and his memory of the "good times".

Along with the TV ad, Nando's has also created a fully integrated campaign for the festive season that includes in-store activity and radio ads that will be bringing a famous voice to the airwaves.
