Cape Town – According to tech website My Broadband, on-demand internet streaming company Netflix will be expanding to South Africa within the next two years.
The announcement came after Netflix informed shareholders that their global expansion strategy will take place earlier than expected.
The expansion strategy involves "acceleration to 200 countries" with the intention of being fully global by the end of 2016.
While exact times and places have not been set, Netflix has confirmed that South Africa forms part of their expansion plans, My Broadband reported.
