New channels available on DStv Mobile

Cape Town - DStv Mobile announced on Tuesday that the M-Net Mobile channel as well as the Discovery channel have been added to their offering.

Motheo Matsau, head of sales and marketing DStv Mobile, said the acquisition is a huge plus for DStv Mobile subscribers and the company has aimed to satisfy its subscribers' content preferences.

The content and screening times pertaining to the M-Net Mobile channel were detailed in a press released issued by DStv Mobile on Tuesday.

It read: "The M-Net Mobile channel will replicate the satellite channel except where licencing does not allow, which currently pertains to movies. In such cases substitute programming will be scheduled. The M-Net Mobile channel is available from 14:00 and concludes between 22:30 and 23:00 daily."

More packages

DStv Mobile subscribers now have three different packages to choose from.

The channels are bundled in the following packages.

The e.mobile package is free and comprises E! Entertainment, Channel O, SuperSport Blitz, The eNews Channel and CNNi.

The DStv Mobile package is available at a cost of R36 per month and offers SuperSport 1,2,3,4, AfricaMagic, M-Net Series, SONYMax, Cartoon Network, Discovery plus all channels in the e.mobile package.

Current DStv premium subscribers get all the channels in the DStv Mobile package plus M-Net Mobile at no extra cost.
