Cape Town – Noluthando Meje, will be the presenter of the local version of the format reality competition show The Sing-Off SA when it starts on SABC1 in May.
Noluthando Meje, known as Nolly, was a top finalist in the second and again the 7th season of M-Net’s Idols in 2003 and 2011, and joined SABC3’s Isidingo last year in the role of Zukisa. She’s also had acting roles in dramas like Home Affairs and Interrogation Room.
Nolly will present the show and be in hand to record links and interview contestants when the nationwide audition process for the a capella talent show kicks off this coming Saturday 14 March at the Bassline in Johannesburg.
“I’m really looking forward to the amazing talent that we are going to discovery,” says Nolly in a statement. “I love singing and anyone who knows me will tell you that harmonizing is my thing. I can’t wait to hear the many voices coming together in perfect harmony”.
The winning group, which can comprise up to five people, will win R250 000 and a Sony recording contract.
