Cape Town - Nonhle Thema wants to be SA Idols' newest judge and believes that the chemistry between her and Gareth Cliff will be like "fire", reports Wonted.co.za.

The 31-year-old television star, who presented shows on Channel O such as O-Access and recently starred in her own reality show Nonhle Goes To Hollywood, took to her Twitter page to express her wishes to be cast as an SA Idols judge.

In a series of tweets relating to Idols, Nonhle posted:

Soon after she included M-Net in a tweet, saying: "Mnet Idols...I want That Job...lets make it happen...(sic)"

Keeping it real

Many of her followers asked if she would like to host the show, but Nonhle made it clear to them that she would rather be a judge than host, stating that she would "keep it real".

Nonhle has many hosting gigs behind her name and has appeared on various shows on Channel O. She was also an African ambassador for the music channel, interviewing various celebrities overseas.

She also hosted V - Entertainment on the DSTV channel Vuzu, but left the channel in 2011 amid various disputes after she posted a series of outrageous updates on her Twitter page.

*Do you think Nonhle would make a good judge on SA Idols and why? If not, who would you like to see on the judging panel? Send us your thoughts and get published.
