Los Angeles – Remember the story about the man eaten alive by an anaconda?
Despite outcries from animal rights organisations the episode aired on American television on Sunday night and by the looks of it viewers weren’t impressed.
The two hour special aired on Discovery sees Wildlife expert, Paul Rosolie eaten by a snake.
Paul wore a snake-proof suit which protected him from being crushed by the anaconda.
Here’s how viewers reacted to the show:
I was upset last night the guy on the show "Eaten Alive" was not really eaten but laid on by a snake. How's your day? #EatenAlive = #LaidOn

I believe I was promised the snake would eat the guy. #EatenAlive

I mean it was basically 90 minutes chasing a snake and then 10 minutes of the snake playing "just the tip" #EatenAlive

How disappointing was #EatenAlive! If a show is titled Eaten Alive, I expect someone to be eaten.

#EatenAlive is about a guy saying he wants to be eaten by an anaconda and cancels when he gets eaten by an anaconda. LOL @PaulRosolie
