Cape Town – DStv announced on Tuesday that Mzansi Magic will be screening the Miss South Africa pageant in the form of a reality TV show.
For the first time viewers will have the opportunity to get to know the 33 finalists personally before voting for their favourite.
Viewers will get to watch every move the finalists make, how they prepare for the crowning ceremony, the workshops held at Sun City Resort and interview sessions with judges.
The Road to Miss SA starts in October and is an hour-long reality show presented by Bridget Masinga.
Judges include former beauty queens like Sonia Raciti-Oshry (Miss SA 1998), Joan Ramagoshi (Miss SA 2004), Sonia Booth, (former Miss SA second princess), Kieno Kammies (TV presenter and journalist), Gert Johan Coetzee (fashion designer) en Paledi Segapo (fashion consultant).
The Miss South Africa competition will take place on December 11 2011 in Sun City.
