Johannesburg – It seems almost too unreal to possibly be true. But two absolutely foolish thieves mugged a South African news crew while the cameras were rolling.
The SABC’s contributing editor, Vuyo Mvoko, was mugged while reporting live from outside the Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on Tuesday night.
According to a report by eNCA, Mvoko was covering the arrival of Zambian President Edgar Lungu when the incident took place.
In a YouTube video that surfaced online of the incident the culprits can be clearly identified as the incident took place while the cameras were rolling.
The attackers seem oblivious to the fact that they were being filmed despite them standing in the crew's spotlight.
