Cape Town - Mooiloop, a new travel magazine show, will be replacing Pasella in its current timeslot on SABC2 from 29 May, reports YOU.
SABC2 released a statement on Thursday dismissing rumours that Pasella had permanently been removed from the channel's broadcasting schedule.
In the statement, SABC2 assured viewers that Pasella will not be disappearing from television screens, but will go on a short break, and will resume with a new season once Mooiloop has ended its season run.

SABC2 also mentioned that this is nothing new for the channel, as several other shows like 50/50, Gospel Time and Gospel Classics have been working on the same "alternative break"-method for quite some time now.
However, this is the first time that the Tswelopele Productions show has been moved from an ongoing production schedule to a recurring one in its 15 years on air.
According to the statement, the new travel programme is said to fit in with SABC2's new look and feel, offering "alternative programming" to its viewers.
Pasella will continue to air on Wednesdays at 19:30 until 22 May.
