Johannesburg - In what was an intense and highly entertaining SA's Got Talent finale at the Soweto Theatre, Tholwana Mohale walked away as the winner of this year's competition.
All six acts competing for the grand prize of R250 000 and the title of being SA's most talented, came out in full force last night.
The top six acts were narrowed down to the final three contestants which consisted of Tholwana Mohale, Freeze Frame and Joe Fredericks. In a nail-biting announcement, Joe was ousted leaving Freeze Frame and Tholwana holding thumbs to be crowned the winner.
Tholwana was left speechless when her name was read out by show host, Tats Nkonzo, as she was announced as the winner.
"This has all been an amazing journey full of firsts for me," said the winner from Namaqualand in the Northern Cape. Not only is this the first winner from the Northern Cape for SA's Got Talent, but also the very first to make it through to the finale.
