SPOILER: So Family Guy killed off a main character... leaving the internet in tears

Los Angeles - Beloved family dog Brian has been run over by car and died in Sunday's episode of Family Guy.

That's right. He's dead. Gone to doggy heaven.

And not missing a beat, Seth MacFarlane killed our hearts further by immediately replacing the martini-drinking pooch with a smart-talking italian dog called Vinny, voiced by The Sopranos actor Tony Sirico.
