Cape Town - Nando's vs Santam vs Nando's.

The fast food chain is famous for its brazen television adverts, but now Nando's is getting a taste of its own medicine.

Earlier in April Nando's released a spoof of insurance company Santam's latest television advert featuring actor Ben Kingsley.

The Nando's advert pokes fun at this set-up and shows a local actor addressing the audience while the Nando's meals on the counter next to him obviously change.

On Tuesday Santam struck back with a new video, saying it is flattered by the "cribbed" advert, and now challenges the fast food chain to deliver a long order of Nando's menu items to the Johannesburg Children's Home by 16:00 on Thursday 26 April.

It is not yet known if Nando's will accept the challenge.
