If you have no idea what it's about, the popular series investigated the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee and the trial and conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed.
The gripping series tapped into the amateur sleuth hiding in us.
Long after the series has concluded the conversation about it has been continued especially since the ending was inconclusive and it seems like Adnan might be getting that appeal.
According to Screencrush, studios have been fighting for the film rights to turn it into a big screen adaptation.
