Survivor SA contestant wins big at the 2014 Gay Games

Johannesburg - Zavion Kotze has won a staggering 12 medals at the 2014 Gay Games! 8 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze!

The Survivor SA contestant and Decathlete was a clear favourite at The Gay Games this year, hosted in Cleveland Ohio (USA) from 9-16 August. He literally dominated the medal podium from the very start, stunning both national and international fans alike.  



As an activist for breaking the stereotyping of gay people, Zavion has always dreamed of participating in this massive international sporting event, so with 12 medals to his name, Zavion's success story is indeed mind-blowing and a "dream come true".

 
"This has been an amazing experience for me", says Zavion. "I had so many moments where I just sat back and looked at all of the love and friendliness around me. It’s been an unforgettable one!"

Zavion, also one of South Africa's top wedding and event planners, is expected to be back in SA on the 1st of September.

"I love my country. The support from everyone back home has been amazing! Thank you so much!"
