TV obsession of the week: Deadly Islands

Cape Town – An island vacation may very well be one of the top holiday destinations, but there are some islands that are deadly.

Biologist and predator Dave Salmoni journeys to some of the deadliest islands known to man, in order to explore these remote atolls and discover the animals that inhabit them in a new series premiering on 15 November at 21:00 on Discovery DStv channel 121.

Locations include a South Pacific island notorious for having an unusually large concentration of sharks, an island in the South Atlantic that's home to a pod of hunting killer whales, and an island in the Galapagos Archipelago, which boasts some of the weirdest and toughest animals on the planet.
