Cape Town – The top 12 contestants of the hip hop reality show, The Hustle on Vuzu Amp, were in for a rude awakening in episode 2.

This rap game isn’t so easy after all!

Here's what went down.

The party didn’t last too long as they started the day off with a 03:00 bootcamp wake up call. For some it was a struggle.

The first task was to write a jingle for YFM DJ Ankletap’s show.

Erick Rush aced the task!

Next up, the elimination round, under the supervision of Boss Zonke himself, Riky Rick, the contestants had to write a hot hook!

After appearing before a tough judging panel, Mopheme won the round while Cold Blood and Deekay were asked to leave the house.

Mopheme scored himself a night in the Hennessy Luxury Suite.

The judges: Tumi, AKA and Khuli Chana were on top form!

When AKA said to Erick Rush: "You have a future in jingles."

And when he said to Cold Blood: "You’re getting a one way ticket back to the underground."

It’s clear that this competition will not be a walk in the park.

These are the remaining 10 hustlers: Big Johnson, Cass, Erick Rush, Genious.Illu, JimmyWiz, Mopheme, Nelz, Prince Vassago, Shabzimadallion and Shane Eagle.
