Belfast - As part of their visit to Northern Ireland Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip took a tour through the Belfast studio where Game of Thrones is filmed on Tuesday.

We were so hoping that Her Majesty would take a seat on the Iron Throne.

But she kept her cool and played it coy as she inspected the throne a little bit closer.

According to the Belfast Telegraph the popular series has been a huge economic benefit for Northern Island bringing in a total of $139m and creating more than 900 full- time and 5 700 part time jobs.
