Cape Town - Ben Collins, formerly known as The Stig in the hugely successful Top Gear franchise, is coming to South Africa in July.
He will be here to launch the brand new luxury Audi A6. Collins' identity was a well-kept secret in television for the nearly seven years while he featured on UK car show Top Gear.
Collins will be in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town between July 5 - 16. He has just finished stunt driving on the 23rd Bond movie in Poland, his second appearance in a Bond film. He had previously driven in Quantum of Solace.
As The Stig, Ben Collins was the benchmark of speed against which all other drivers set themselves, and the man that everyone from Nigel Mansell to Jenson Button tried and failed to beat.
