This season of American Horror Story: Freak Show is based on a 1950s Florida freak show run by a German woman played by Jessica Lange.
The show’s co-creator Ryan Murphy says that the concept is something he and Jessica Lange have been talking about for a while and even though they had a few other concepts that they were throwing around between the two of them, this one has always been his personal favourite.
The new season will premiere in October.
