Tribes merge, jury emerges on Survivor

Cape Town - Survivor SA's Raituhn and Goma tribes have merged and the newly formed Eku tribe has voted off its first member.

Eku voted off HR consultant Simon Coetzer as he was considered one of the strongest contestants.

In another twist, the first members of the jury were introduced to the Eku tribe.

Vanessa Haywood, who left the island on the April 7 episode because of a neck injury, formed part of the jury with Harry Wiggins and Roxy Burger, who were voted out at the previous tribal council.

The members of Eku traded in their yellow and blue 'buffs' for red, their new tribal colour.

Survivor SA: Maldives airs on M-Net (DStv channel 101) on Thursdays at 19:30.
