Cape Town - Durban-born singer and actress Nondumiso Tembe is getting bloody for TV, reports IOL.
The 25-year-old starlet will be appearing in the fourth season of True Blood, the popular HBO vampire drama.
Tembe has been cast as a French-speaking supernatural who will appear in several episodes throughout the season.
Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard - who was in South Africa in 2007 to film Generation Kill - are just some of the Hollywood stars joining Tembe on set.
True Blood is based on the Southern Vampire Mystery novels by Charlaine Harris and is created and produced by Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball.
Season four begins airing on HBO in the US on June 26.
