Cape Town - Two 6-minute clips of Ashton Kutcher in his new role on the successful series Two and A Half Men have been uploaded to YouTube.

The first clip introduces Kutcher as Walden Schmidt, a heartbroken billionaire who stumbles onto the balcony, causing Alan (Jon Cryer) to spill Charlie's ashes.

The pair then get to know each other over apple-tinis and when Walden hits it off with the ladies, Alan recognises the all too familiar scenario.

Kutcher joined the cast of Two and A Half Men after Charlie Sheen was fired for numerous drink and drug problems as well as a feud with creator Chuck Lorre.

Sheen has since wished the show and Kutcher all the best for the future.

Cryer recently thanked Lorre for "saving" Charlie Sheen's life by killing him off Charlie Harper.
