We chat with the Big Brother Hotshots eliminated housemates

Cape Town - This week on the Big Brother Hotshots elimination show we saw three guys leave the house, a move that may make things in the house slightly more equal as in the past three weeks it's been mostly ladies who left the show.

This week we said goodbye to Luis from Namibia, Rwandan Radio presenter Arthur and Ghana's Kacey Moore.

We had a chat with them and this is what they had to say.

Luis

How do you feel now that you have been reunited with your Mira?

Luis
I am very nervous and excited at the same time. I do not know how her life has been on the outside and I am hoping that she is still the same girl I met in the house.

Channel24
What was up with you trying to jump over the fence, was that an act or did you really want to go home?

Luis
I really did want to go home because I felt that at that time I did not want to be in the house anymore. I had gotten to a point where it was not bearable being in the house, it became impossible for me to deal with all the emotional ups and downs of the whole situation. I mean, it’s only two months that I would have spent in that house but I felt that it was not worth it for me to compromise my spirituality or my inner being just for a TV show.

Channel24
Do you think that it would have worked better if you had asked to be sent home instead of trying to jump over the fence?

Luis
I was only coming to a decision on the night that the incident happened and I think that me being up there and attempting to leave like that was kind of a way for me to deal with it. I tried to talk to Big Brother the next morning and they asked that I think about it further and the rest of the housemates got me to calm down and eventually I ended up staying.

Channel24
Do you think that the incident and the way you went on about how much you missed Mira may have somehow negatively affected your game?

Luis
I do not believe in things happening like that, to me things always happen the way they are supposed to happen, so if me missing Mira or being true to myself may have made Africa see me in a certain way, there is nothing I can do about that. I was being genuine and myself throughout.

Kacey

Channel24
How was your first night outside of the Big Brother house?

Kacey
I got to be with the Mrs so that was great! It was awesome! We only got one hour of sleep.

Channel24
What is the deal between you and Ella, being a married man, do you think you took things with her too far?

Kacey
It was platonic even though I had a lot of explaining to do regarding Ella, my wife had a lot of questions,  there were no feelings involved between me and Ella.

This is a girl I spoke with about my wife but I guess Africa saw it in completely different way and I am hurt, if any feeling were at play it would have to be feeling between a brother and sister. If I wanted to sleep with her I do not think I would have spent all that time talking to her about my wife.

Channel24
Do you think that your friendship with Ella may have made Africa view you in a certain way regarding the fact that you are a married man and you got that close to another woman?

Kacey
I think that Africa may have gotten the wrong impression about my relationship with Ella, but I do not feel like I have to explain myself to anyone especially when it comes to what I feel in my heart. My wife understands me and she knows who I am so Africa can think what they think, I did not compromise anything. I went into that house and did what I had to do.

Channel24
Is there anything that would change in your game plan if you could go back in time?

Kacey
I would not change anything, maybe I would spend as much time under the sheets with Ella as I did. I would try to be more in people's faces other than under the sheets but I would still be me.

Arthur

Channel24
Do you think you played the game to the best of your abilities?

Arthur
Of course I played the game exactly the way I would have wanted to play it, I am an artist and for me all I wanted was to showcase my talent every week and I had four weeks to do that, so I am very happy.

Channel24
Is there anything about you that you think Africa did not find out on the show?

Arthur
Not really. But I would like to tell Africa that what you guys see on screen is only 50% of what happens in that house, it’s another world in there, there is a lot of negative energy that goes on in that house and it’s a big challenge to be inside it.

Channel24
Who would you like to see walk away with the ultimate prize?

Arthur
Obviously my fellow countryman Franky but I think that my boy Macky2 is the strongest housemate in there and he may walk away a winner.
