Which Idols contestant will not get to sing this week?

Johannesburg - For one contestant on Idols the top 10 will be as far as they go.  This Sunday the performer who received the fewest votes from the fans will be asked to leave the competition.

In the meantime all ten of the contestants are preparing to stun the audience again, should they remain in the running to become South Africa's next Idol.

The theme of this week’s Top 9 Spectacular is Songs With Strings, and the Idols will be joined on stage by the gifted South African singer-songwriter and producer TiMO ODV as a guest star.

Here's what the contestants will sing this week:

Amanda Antony (22) from Port Elizabeth is scheduled to open the show on Sunday with the Kelly Clarkson hit Because of You, and Amanda’s individual voting number for the duration of the competition is Number 3.

Dineo Moseki (21) from Vryburg is performing Beyoncé’s Broken-Hearted Girl and her voting number for the competition is number 5.

22-year-old Elwira Standili from Worcester has chosen the Christina Aguilera anthem Hurt. Her voting number for the competition is number 1.

The first of the guys to step up to the mic on Sunday will be Karabo Mogane (24) from Nelspruit, singing Adele’s mega-hit Rolling In The Deep. Karabo’s voting number is 2.

16-year-old Loyiso Gijana from Uitenhage has selected Gravity by Sara Bareilles for his performance. Loyiso’s voting number is number 9.

Lungisa Xhamela (24) from Langa is performing Eric Benet’s Hurricane, and his individual voting number for the competition is 7.
