Cape Town – The much anticipated premiere of Lip Sync Battle finally made its debut on MTV (DStv 130).
First to battle it out were ex-bae's TV personality Boity Thulo and hip hop star Cassper Nyovest.
Both contenders were amped and ready to take the belt, but Boity shut the show down when she channelled Nicki Minaj in her performance of Anaconda.

Cassper put up a good attempt when he rocked the Whitney Houston classic, I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
But he stood no chance against Boity's uhm.... buns.
She walked away with the belt and coveted title of the first winner of Lip Sync Battle Africa.
