DStv adds pop-up Muhammad Ali Tribute Channel

Cape Town - MultiChoice has added a special Muhammad Ali channel to DStv that started at 12:00 on Saturday and will run until next Sunday following the death of the heavyweight boxing titan at 74 who floated like a butterfly and stung like a bee.

The Muhammad Ali Tribute Channel is programmed and provided by SuperSport and running on DStv channel 199 for DStv Premium, DStv Extra, DStv Compact, DStv Family and DStv Access subscribers.

For the coming week the Muhammad Ali Tribute Channel on DStv will pay homage to the life and times of the brash boxing legend who died on Friday night in hospital after he became one of the most recognisable faces on the planet for over half a century.

The pop-up Muhammad Ali Tribute Channel is broadcasting his greatest fights, interview and documentaries about the boxer's life.

Saturday and Sunday's schedule include programmes like the Ringside series, "Ali: Banned from Boxing", "Ali: Return from Exile" and "Ali: The Final Chapter" to fights like Ali vs Sonny Liston 1 and 2 and Ali King of the World.
