Cape Town – Earlier this week A&E released a first look at the docu-series Generation KKK.
The eight part series follows four prominent Klan families who have a family member who is trying to leave the organisation.
It will also follow a network of anti-hate and peace activists who are working to break the cycle.

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo took to Twitter to slam the network for promoting and normalising hate.
In a series of tweets she also called for a boycott of the network.
Shame on you @AETV https://t.co/eeGrdYbdjS

A&E responded to her defending the show saying the series is about extracting families for the KKK and exposing hate. The actress responded that the network should rather promote it as such.
