People has just released an exclusive official first look.
The TV remake is a fresh take on the original 1987 film which will dive deeper into the characters.
Abigial Breslin will pay Baby Houseman and Colt Prattes (Johnny Castle.)
Other cast members include Sarah Hyland (who will play Baby's sister Lisa), Debra Messing (who will play Baby's mom Marjorie), Bruce Greenwood (Baby's dad Dr. Jake Houseman), Nicole Scherzinger (Penny Rivera), Tony Roberts (Max Kellerman), Katey Sagal (Vivian Pressman), Billy Dee Williams (Tito) and J. Quinton Johnson (Marco).
According to People it will also take a look at what happened to the couple after the summer, Baby's parent's relationship, what her older sister got up to and tackle social topics like women's rights.
The remake will air on ABC in America on Wednesday, 24 May.
