Los Angeles - The six stars of the hugely popular TV show, Friends, will reunite in a two-hour NBC special to honour the show’s frequent director James Burrows.
Burrows directed 15 episodes out of the 10 seasons of the show.
According to online reports the entire cast of Friends might appear on the show set to air on 21 February, Buzzfeed reported.
“I’m hoping all six of them will be all in the same room at the same time, but I’m not sure if we can logistically pull that off,” Bob Greenblatt, NBC’s chairman of entertainment, said at the Television Critics Association winter press tour on Wednesday.
The Friends cast include Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow.
The first episode of Friends aired on 22 September 1994 and 10 years later came to an end on 6 May 2004.
The show, which still today is being broadcast across the globe in the form or reruns, followed the lives of six friends living in New York City. Friends was filmed in Los Angeles at the Warner Brothers studio lot.
