Goodbye Ruda, hello Amore

Cape Town – Veteran TV host Ruda Landman is handing over the reins of popular lifestyle show VeranderDinge to another very famous face: radio host Amore Bekker.

“I have enjoyed my time on VeranderDinge and my return to Sunday-night TV,” says Ruda, who is most famous for her many years on M-Net investigative journalism show Carte Blanche. “VeranderDinge has such a novel approach to lifestyle programmes and it was a great privilege to be given a glimpse into other people’s lives. That said, I feel it’s time to get involved with other projects.”

Amore is best known for her popular drive-time radio show Tjailatyd on RSG and this will be her first stint on TV in over 20 years. “I am thrilled to be presenting VeranderDinge, as I have been a fan of the show since its first season. Much of what viewers love about it will still be there, but of course we have made some changes to keep the show fresh. Change, after all, is the subject of the show!”

Amore adds, “Ruda is certainly leaving big shoes for me to fill! It was an honour to interview her and I think it is very fitting that she will help me kick off our new season”.

To mark the handover, Ruda will be Amore’s first guest on VeranderDinge when season 4 kicks off on Sunday 8 October 2017 at 18:00 on kykNET.
