GOT stars kitted for winter in new promo pics

Cape Town – New Game of Thrones pictures have just hit the net and one thing's for sure, winter is finally here.

The pictures posted on fan site Watchers on the Wall see some of the key characters in various scenes. 

There is also a first look at Lord Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) the leader of the resistance group known as the Brotherhood Without Banners.

Another thing that is on everyone's lips is the new costumes. 

In a behind-the-scenes video, series costume designer Michelle Clapton revealed that the role the costumes play is the narrative of the show. 

"I like the fact that you use costumes to tell a story and to create character," she says. 

She continues: "You know the story, you know what they doing, you know what their relationships are and you need to show it in cloth."
