Johannesburg - South African stage and screen star, Jamie Bartlett, joins radio legend Shado Twala and the internationally renowned DJ Fresh on the judging panel for the upcoming season of SA's Got Talent, which returns to e.tv in September.
Best known for his role as David Genaro on Rhythm City, Jamie will be bringing his enthusiasm and experience to Mzansi’s most-watched TV talent show.
Bartlett is ecstatic about his new role of judge on the show. “SA's Got Talent is a true celebration of top, local talent across the spectrum. I'm very excited at the prospect of being able to serve the talent and the show in my role as a judge. Viewers tuning into SA's Got Talent will see the real me – not playing a character, but daring the talent to move me,” he says.
Marlon Davids, acting MD e.tv Channels Division, says that Bartlett’s extensive professional experience in the South African theatre, film and television industries will stand him in good stead when it comes to nurturing the next generation of talent on SA’s Got Talent. “We can’t wait to see what he has to say about the talent that will be on stage – we know he’ll be honest, and tough to impress!”.
SA's Got Talent will premiere on Sunday 4 September 2016 at 6:05PM on e.tv and eHD on Openview HD (Channel 104) and DStv (Channel 194).
