A TeleLovela is a form of storytelling that revolves around a hero and heroine who fall in love in comedic situations and is usually presented in a mini-series format. Viewers can either follow the four-episode story line from Monday to Thursday at 22:00, or watch it all in one go in a movie-format at the end of the week.
The first story, Ligte, Kamera... Liefde, follows an aspiring actress (Jenna Dunster) on the set of a Boer-war film and struggles with her growing feelings for her co-star (Jacques Bessenger), who seems to have an alternate agenda on the movie set.
Chris de Clerq plays the the famous director, who has his own secrets.
