kykNET Fiëstas Awards to air live on TV tonight

Cape Town - The kykNET Fiëstas will be broadcast live from Artscape Theatre on Thursday night.

Viewers can tune in on kykNET (DStv 144), Thursday evening from 20:00.

The kykNET Fiëstas honours local talent that delivered exceptional work on stage and behind the scenes at local arts festivals. The most popular festival will also be announced at the glamourous evening attended by some of SA’s most well-known faces.

Johrné van Huyssteen will play host for the evening with Albert Pretorius, Irshaad Ally, Denise Newman, Christia Visser and Tarryn Wyngaard joining him on stage to hand out the awards.

Alvon Collison, Acama Fick and Ton Vosloo will also be honoured for their lifetime contribution to the arts.

Musical guests include Arno Casrtens, Corlia Botha and Thembeka Mnguni.
