Cape Town – We recently reported that the new Top Gear host, Matt LeBlanc, would like to come to South Africa to film the show.
It turns out that his wish has just been granted.
The crew has headed to our shores to film scenes for the new season of the motoring show.

Top Gear SA editor has confirmed that filming for the new season is taking place.
Filming of the season has been marred by setbacks as it was expected to start airing on 8 May, but now it has been delayed until 22 May, and has also been cut from being an eight-part series to six.
Executive producer Lisa Clark also quit the show five months into filming of the new season.
Although a new contract will definitely be concluded for 7de Laan, uncertainty remains over whether it will be broadcast on Monday since Hlaudi Motsoeneng first wants to meet with the producers. Read More »
